A small light blinks, endlessly flickering the composition of a fetus. Occasionally, static tears across the image. The video installation Orb was an approach steeped in possibility, where countless particles of light perpetually presented new possibilities for the fetus.
It was the video equivalent to the fetus’s dream of a body of light, an existence of perpetual possibility. Although each frame of video can only show so much: The fetus’s dream was that it would ultimately be whole.
The space around the womb is also filled with otherworldly beings. With all the world’s scientific advances, can a new beginning be created in the human race?
